Purchased our Howard County home in 2005, and refinanced twice in 2009 and 2012, all under the excellent guidance of Pete Dellane of Ability Mortgage Group. Pete kept the fees at or near zero and secured the best terms even doing better then prevailing rates. I would highly recommend.

As a 1st time home buyer, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Peter and the folks at Ability we’re terrific. I really don’t know how else to explain it. They were able to get me the best rate possible when the market was going crazy and unpredictable. The foreclosure I bought had a little more paperwork than a normal home and the amount of time it takes to officially close was a bit longer I imagine. They were on top of it all the time, for well over 2 months!!The bank I was dealing with for the foreclosure seemed like they were playing a game and had surprise fees and paperwork all the time. I started feeling bad for the number of times I contacted Ability mort but they didn’t mind and were more than helpful. I’ve never been to another mortgage company so I can’t compare but there’s no way anyone else could have put up with me and helped as much as they did. They’re the best in the business. You would be blown away with how good they are if I was able to write the long version of the story!

About a week into the New Year of 2017, I received an email from Mr. Peter Deplane, of Ability Mortgage Company, wishing me a Happy New Year! I responded back, “Unfortunately, I’m unable, at this point, to wish you a Happy New Year because this is not starting off well for me.I just received a letter from MB Financial that my Mortgage Payments have increased”. I thought I had to deal with this issue all by myself. I contacted Mr. Peter Dellane, immediately responding, along with my Broker, Mr. Craig Reynolds. My future payments will probably have an increase but at least they have eased me through the initial shock. They gave me important information to assist with finding options/solutions. What’s most important is that they did not give up on me. It’s so good to know that your Broker still has your back and still is there for you, even after your Closing has ended. What a relief! I feel stronger and so much better now.

When we were looking to refinance our home, I had looked at the banks and credit unions and was disheartened when I saw how much they were charging in closing fees; and then I luckily stumbled onto glowing online reviews of Peter Dellane and the Ability Mortage Group and gave him a call. Peter’s rates were as good as, if not better than other lenders and I didn’t need to come out of pocket for closing costs. I shared my experience with my co-workers who were also looking to refinance when the rates were historically low. We all ended up with about the same interest rate with one co-worker deciding to go with Peter and the other deciding to stick with his bank and paying thousands in closing costs. My other co-worker and I are more than happy that we chose Peter Dellane and the Ability Mortgage Group.
